Please join us in congratulating SWAN Investigator Dr. Deborah M. Mitchell, who is one of six recipients of the 2016 American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) Rising Star Award.
This new award provides funding to promising young scientists involved in bone research who have already been recognized by NIH “K awards” and other similar professional development programs. Dr. Mitchell currently has a K award to study “The effects of type 1 diabetes on bone health in children and adolescents”.
